Streaming has raised the bar for on-screen text. Netflix publishes detailed subtitle guidelines, YouTube auto-captions set a baseline viewers now expect, and broadcast accessibility rules apply on both sides of the Atlantic. For brands, broadcasters, and creators, subtitling and captioning is a platform requirement, an accessibility obligation, and a real performance factor for multilingual audiovisual translation projects.
The rules are tightening, too. The EU Accessibility Act (June 2025) requires that audiovisual media services and streaming platforms provide accessible subtitle and captioning options for all content distributed within EU member states. We help you meet that standard, starting from clean audio and video transcription and finishing with time-coded files ready to publish.
