Translation Services Questions Answered
How do I get a quote?
Send us your documents or a description of your project using the Get a Free Quote button. We respond within eight business hours with pricing, a confirmed timeline, and the specialist team assigned to your work. There is no obligation to proceed.
Do you only translate, or do you also write original content?
Both. Depending on your project, writing original content in the target language often outperforms translation, especially for blog posts and ad copy. We advise which approach is right for each piece and can handle both within the same engagement.
How do you ensure translation quality?
Every project goes through a two-stage quality assurance process: primary translation by a native-speaking specialist with subject-matter expertise, followed by an independent review by a second qualified linguist. We do not use unedited machine translation output on any project.
What languages do you cover?
We cover 50+ language pairs with native-speaking specialists. This includes all major European languages, Asian languages, and Arabic. Contact us if your language pair is not listed: our global network is extensive.
Can the same team handle both my translation and my digital marketing?
Yes, and this is one of our core strengths. Your localized website, multilingual SEO strategy, ad copy, and social content can all be managed under one account with a single point of contact. This avoids the consistency gaps that arise when translation and marketing run separately.
Is BeTranslated ISO certified?
BeTranslated does not currently hold ISO certification. Our quality management process follows the same three-stage workflow the standard describes: native-speaker translation, independent linguistic review by a second qualified linguist, and a final project-manager QA pass before delivery. We have operated as a professional language services provider since 2002, with clients across corporate, legal, and government accounts.
How much does a translation cost?
Translation is usually priced per source word, so the cost is clear before we start. Rates vary by language pair, subject area, and turnaround, and certified or specialized work costs more than general text. Send us your files for a free, no-obligation quote with a fixed price and timeline.
How long does a translation take?
A professional translator completes around 2,000 to 3,000 words per day, plus time for independent review. A short document often turns around in 24 to 48 hours, while larger projects are scheduled across a team. Tell us your deadline and we will confirm whether it is workable, including rush options.
What is the difference between translation and interpretation?
Translation is written: documents, websites, and marketing rendered into another language. Interpretation is spoken, delivered live at meetings, hearings, and conferences. We provide both, and many clients use us for written material and for on-site or remote interpreters under one account.
Do you provide certified or sworn translations for official documents?
Yes. We provide certified translations for immigration, academic, and legal use, and sworn translations where a country's courts or authorities require a registered translator. Tell us the destination country and the receiving body, and we will confirm the exact certification you need.
Can you translate and localize my website?
Yes. We handle website translation and localization, including WordPress and WPML setups, so your site reads naturally in each market rather than word for word. We can pair this with multilingual SEO so the translated pages actually rank.
Do you use human translators or AI machine translation?
Every project is handled by a native-speaking human specialist, followed by an independent review by a second linguist. We do not ship unedited machine translation. Where a client wants machine translation with human post-editing for speed on large volumes, we offer it as a clearly labeled, separate service.
Can you handle urgent or same-day translations?
Often, yes. For common language pairs we can arrange same-day or next-day delivery by assigning a dedicated team, and we offer priority turnaround on request. Send the files and your deadline and we will confirm what is achievable before you commit.
How do you keep my documents confidential?
Your files are handled only by the linguists and project managers assigned to your work, under confidentiality agreements. We can sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) on request and use secure transfer for sensitive material. Your documents are never used to train public AI tools.
