Do we need to give you admin access to our WordPress site?
Not necessarily. We can work through the WPML Translations dashboard with translator-role access only, or via XLIFF export and reimport where you handle the publish step yourself. Admin access is only needed if you want us to publish on your behalf.
Can you translate WPML-managed sites built with Elementor or Divi?
Yes. WPML supports both Elementor and Divi, and their text content can be sent for translation as jobs or XLIFF files. We keep inline markup intact so the page builder layout is preserved on reimport.
How does WPML translation memory help?
WPML saves completed translations to its translation memory when you use the Advanced Translation Editor, then reuses them for matching segments within the same language pair. Repeated content such as footer and navigation text is translated once and reused, which can lower ongoing cost for sites that update regularly.
In the Classic Translation Editor, only exact matches are reused.
Can you translate WooCommerce products on a WPML site?
Yes. With WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce installed, product titles, descriptions, attributes, and variations can be sent for translation like any other content.
We translate product copy for each market, keep SKUs and attribute values consistent across languages, and flag any shipping or checkout text that still needs a translation.
Should we use WPML automatic translation or human translation?
WPML can now translate automatically with its built-in AI engine, and that can be enough for low-traffic or internal pages. Your key landing pages, product pages, and legal text are a different matter, because a mistranslation there costs sales or creates risk.
A common approach is to let WPML translate the long tail automatically and send the pages that matter most for human translation or review. Contracts or licences behind the site that must go to a state court, a county clerk, or a European commercial register can be delivered as certified translations.
