For DTP layout work you should provide the full InDesign package (File > Package in InDesign), which bundles the INDD file, all linked images, and the fonts used in the document. Without linked images we can translate text but cannot perform DTP layout checks or produce a print-ready preflight.
We work primarily with IDML (InDesign Markup Language) files, which are compatible across InDesign versions CS4 and later. Export your document as IDML (File > Export > InDesign Markup) before sending if you are unsure about version compatibility. We can reopen and save as INDD in the version you require.
Yes. InDesign books (.indb) that compile multiple chapter files are handled as a single project to ensure terminology consistency across all chapters. We process all linked INDD or IDML documents and return a complete book package.
